    Default Customize the Grid Column - Header (Adding Text Box/Combo at the header)

    Hello Experts,
    I am a Novice in ExtJS. We are using ExtJS 3.3.4 in one of our application development.
    We have a requirement to render grid header with a text box/combo/checkbox. When the user enters the data in the header section then data column in the grid rows to be overwritten.
    e.g. (Screens i also attached)
    Item | Discount %
    | < Text Box - H1 >
    =============
    P1 < Text Box - R1 >
    P1 < Text Box - R1 >

    The Text Box - H1 should be part of header and when user enters a value that should get replicated to below text box. We have similar requirement with Combo and Check box.

    I have tried to goole a lot but could find custom renders for data rows but not for header.
    Requesting your help on some samples and any tips to go about resolving this.

    Hi, that place in the header is often used for filterfields as a (better) implementation of the normal gridfilter, google GridHeaderFilters.js up and you have an example of how to do that.

    Thank you very much. I have tried to do as you advice/suggested.
    As of now i referred to a basic version of Grid filters mentioned in thread(55730) and created a basic/curde plugin to fit to my requirement.

    Thanks again for guiding me to right direction.
