Default Answered: INVALID_NODE_TYPE_ERR: DOM Range Exception 2 ????

    Hi

Can anybody help me with the meaning of this error?
"INVALID_NODE_TYPE_ERR: DOM Range Exception 2: The container of an boundary-point of a Range was being set to either a node of an invalid type or a node with an ancestor of an invalid type.
    "

I created a List and added it to a Panel. Later, I removed this list from the Panel, and then tried to add it back. But, it throws the above error. I searched a lot to find out what is going wrong. But, no clue even after 2 days..

    Any help is highly appreciated..

    thanks a lot

  2. Problem was that when I called remove(), the panel and its list got destroyed. So, I was trying to call add() on a destroyed Panel object. This led to the issue mentioned above.

Problem got resolved when I recreated the Panel before calling add() on it.
