    Default Debugging in ExtJS

    Greetings,

    I am learning to use ExtJS the hard way - debugging a large ASP.NET application with no prior experience in ExtJS or even jQuery. I have overcome several hurdles, but find I need help with my current problem.

    The code is breaking in a file associated with a master page - default.master.js and Visual Studio displays this message:

    Microsoft JScript runtime error: Unable to get value of the property 'add_endRequest': object is null or undefined

    The line of code is:
    Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest(EndRequestHandler);

    I am having a hard time wrapping my head around what is going on. Can someone give me some ideas on what to look for?

    Thanks

    That doesn't look like Ext code, more like some Microsoft ASP stuff. Is the error happening in the browser or server? For browser side debugging Firebug, an add-on for Firefox, or the similar Chrome development tools, are indispensable for developing Ext applications.
