Thread: Bug Tree/Grid Scroller Stops Working

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-3770 in a recent build.

    The reason I say to put it in a fixes file is so you can be sure of when it's loading, and that it loads before anything else may create a scroller.

    Yes, it should work for trees and grids.

    It shouldn't affect your nodes content at all, I'd guess that's a separate issue.

    Default determineScrollbars()

    Just for the record, calling treepanel.determineScrollbars() fixed the problem for me. Of course, the call needs to be made whenever the contents of the tree/grid are modified, or the panel is resized.

    see http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#!/api/Ext.tree.Panel

    DIT: determineScrollbars() helped, but did not fix it completely... I still see the problem every now and then, just not as frequently.

    Default try following code,it can fix this bug.

    remove scrollEl's events by garbageCollector,after hide scroller.

    Ext.override(Ext.grid.Scroller,{
    afterRender: function() {
    var me = this;
    me.callParent();

    me.mon(me.scrollEl, 'scroll', me.onElScroll, me);
    Ext.cache[me.el.id].skipGarbageCollection = true;
    Ext.cache[me.scrollEl.id].skipGarbageCollection = true;
    }
    });
