Question Deleting elements in a FormPanel

I 'm working with a formPanel and I need to delete some of its items, but the problem is after I delete a item, the view is not refreshing ( I'm using doLayout()). How can i refresh the view ?

I've read by other credible posters here that deleting elements is not recommended.

Have you tried simply hiding and disabling said controls then doLayout() ?
