Thread: Horizontal Accordion Panel

  1. #1

    Default Horizontal Accordion Panel

    Is there a way to use the accordion panel in horizontal mode? Because examples and docs only talk about vertical mode.

    It's been nearly a year and a half... Thought maybe it was worth asking if there's been any change on this one

    Hi,

    Something have just knocked together to accomplish this which seems to work fine so long as you use headerPosition: 'left' on the items.

    Code:
            /**
             * A version of Accordion layout, than is horizontal rather than vertical.
             * @author Westy
             */
            Ext.define('Ext.ux.layout.container.HorizontalAccordion', {
                extend: 'Ext.layout.container.Accordion',

                alias: ['layout.horizontal-accordion'],

                defaultAnimatePolicy: {
                    x: true,
                    width: true
                }
            },
            function() {
                Ext.require([
                    'Ext.layout.container.HBox'
                ],
                function() {
                    Ext.ux.layout.container.HorizontalAccordion.borrow(
                        Ext.layout.container.HBox,
                        [
                            'type',
                            'direction',
                            'horizontal',
                            'names',
                            'sizePolicy'
                        ]
                    );
                });
            });
    See Fiddle here...

    Should add, not really tested, but seems to work for the simple case at least.

    Any chance of this being included in ExtJS 5.x?

    Since I am not a support subscriber, I don't have privilege to do so. Or at least this is what I think.
