    Not only does it need some css fixes, but it just doesn't work intuitively (you need one click to activate the checkbox and one to toggle it).

    Any reason you're not using Ext.ux.grid.CheckColumn (from ext/examples/ux/CheckColumn.js)?
    I cannot check or uncheck any checkcolumn in a EditorGridPanel when using Ext.ux.grid.CheckColumn as it was in "Editor Grid Example". The processEvent function is not ever fired.
    Thanks in advanced

    After some test Ext.form.Checkbox is not working neighter Ext.ux.grid.CheckColumn

    Even better, u can change Ext.form.Checkbox taping the space bar after u click on this field in editor grid.

    Ext.ux.grid.CheckColumn is not working at all in chrome

    Sorry, my bad, after further investigation the Ext.ux.grid.CheckColumn is working just perfect

    U have to remember to add it as plugin to editorGridPanel

    I actually agree on this. It worked back in ExtJS 3.0 for the older version of Chrome and all the versions of IE and Firefox. Though we are now moving away from the checkbox as an editor for the checkbox column.

    The only reason why we were not using the column was so that we could display specialized text according to the click state of the checkbox when we were not in edit mode.

    Default Resolved

    Hello all. I was able to resolve this by adding in the following code when the field is created. I set my editor to be a function that returns the field. But before returning the field, it does the following (I input to the function what kind of field it should be. That's what the format.type is:

    function returnField(format){
    this.factory = function(format){
    // Put in some logic here to create your editor based on what kind of field it should be.
    // So at this point you should have an Ext.form.Field (or extension to play with)
    if(Ext.isChrome && format.type=='bool'){            field.on('afterrender',this.changeBool,this);
            return field;
    this.changeBool = function(field){
            var oldThis = this;
                    // Note that "this" is the FIELD
                    // Remove this listener.
    return this.factory(format);
