Thread: [OPEN-639] ActionSheet mess orientation change redrawing

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for TOUCH-540 in a recent build.

    Exclamation [OPEN-639] ActionSheet mess orientation change redrawing

    I have run into this with my own app and then was able to reproduce it on official "kitchen-sink" demo.

    In the nutshell, once you use ActionSheet, next orientation change will render screen at offset. This video demonstrates the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbfWzxD7gnk

    Sorry to bother, is there any progress on this? Any kind of time frame estimate will be highly appreciated.

    FYI: It looks like this still does not work with 1.0.1a

    Code:
    new Ext.ActionSheet({
      renderTo: Ext.getBody(),
      ...
    });
    before elements:
    <body>
    <div id="component">...</div>
    <div id="actionSheet">...</div>
    </body>

    Code:
    new Ext.ActionSheet({
      renderTo: yourComponent.getEl(),
      ...
    });
    after elements:
    <body>
    <div id="component">
    <div id="actionSheet">...</div>
    </div>
    </body>

    Is this OK??thank you.

    I worked around this issue by destroying the sheet when it's hidden, and recreating it when it gets called again. This takes 'slightly' longer to show each time, but the difference is unnoticeable on my platform, iphone 3gs ios.

    My current workaround is to let the thing float in the middle of the screen, where it doesn't cause the issue.

    I have the same problem and looks like it happens as well when you show the DatePicker and Select box.

    Default Confirmed

    I have this issue as well. Confirmed with ActionSheet, DateSelector, Any other extended Ext.Picker or selectfield. I have tested this on iPhone 4G

    Quickly glancing at the code I suspect Ext.Sheet is the culprit.

    Thanks,
    Trixor
