    Default how to create an ExtJS string?

    probably a very noob question but how do I create an ExtJS string initialized to a value?
    along the lines of:
    Code:
    var myString = new Ext.String({
       value = 'Hello   ';
    });
    this is because I want to use ExtJS string's trim() function and not have to write my own as:

    Code:
    myString.trim();  // results in 'Hello'
    thank you in advance.
