    Question paging toolbar without totalCount

Say I have a data grid that pulls data from a database with 10 million records. At a certain point it becomes a performance issue to count all that data on each page pull, especially as the return number changes with search filters, etc.

Is it possible to configure the existing extjs paging toolbar to work without totalCount?

    Really all we need is <first-page> <previous-page> 1 2 3 4 [5] 6 7 8 9 <next-page>

A paging buffer would be a huge plus as well. Would be cool if we could pull 100 at a time and page them 5 or so per page, another 100 pull on page 20, etc.

Thanks for any suggestions for this problem.

Same issue here. All we really need to show in the paging toolbar is "Page 1 of Many"
