Animations on Android flickering

Using a simple slide animation (as seen in the Kitchen Sink) I often get some flicker, like an all white screen showing during the animation. Anybody else seen this?

I tried to set Ext.Anim.disableAnimations = true, but it actually didn't disable them.

On Android 2.2 with a G2 phone, there is a definite 0.1s flicker before any of the animations in the kitchen sink demo. Would love it if this is resolved in 1.0.2.

I didn't have this issue in Android 2.1 Galaxy S.
I have it now in Android 2.2 Galaxy S.

Same thing here. Recreated using Kitchen Sink demo on a Droid X2 running Android 2.2.
