Thread: Stand-alone only?

    Default Stand-alone only?

For this contest, is it alright for a mobile web app to work in conjunction with a non-mobile web app, or must the mobile web app be stand-alone? I ask because I've developed a mobile web app using Sencha Touch that's meant to be used in conjunction with a non-mobile web app I developed using Ext JS; the mobile app does quite a lot, but some things can only be done in the non-mobile app. I can think of other mobile/non-mobile web app pairs like this; for example, some features of Google Reader are only available in the non-mobile version.

Ralph - it doesn't have to be a competely standalone app in the sense of "could this be downloaded by a random person and used". But it should "work" without us needing to install a desktop app just to use it.

Okay, I think my app might qualify. Thanks.
