    Default Changing column width problem

    The portal has three columns. You can change column width.
    When you add extra widgets into the column, the height of the element that you use to change the width of the column is not updated. The height of the portal itself is updated correctly (vertical scroll appears).

    Look at the attachment.

    When I see via firebug, I can see that the element's height style is set to some definite value
    <div id="portal_col_0-xsplit" class="x-layout-split x-layout-split-west x-splitbar-h" style="left: 510px; top: 0px; height: 401px;">&nbsp;</div>

    I tried to set it as:
    var leftPortalColumn = Ext.get("portal_col_0-xsplit");

    but it did not help.

    Please help. I cannot do anything with this

    Did you ever get this going? I'm trying to work with the portal panel and am wondering how to resize columns.

    Column width change works without any problem.

    The actual problem connected to column heigh change. When I add new widget column height is changed.

    Each time I change columnt height, I count the updated height, and then set the same value to html element with id = "portal_col_0-xsplit".
    Unfortunately I could not resolve it using ExtJs framework.

    By the way, at our project we don't use ExtJs any more...
