    Default Rendering Buttons/Panels

    Hi All,

    I've been playing around with Sencha Touch and I'm really impressed so far... I have hit a slight problem and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction...

    I have fetched a list of messages using JSON, for each one I've used the appyTemplate function to apply the data to a set HTML div template, this works great and it looks good... I've hit a problem/wall where I want to move on from that though, and add more functionality - e.g. like a button to initiate a new panel or action - I am not sure how to do this from the HTML?

    Code:
                        var html = tpl.applyTemplate(weather);
                            Ext.getCmp('weather').update(html);
    Is this the best way to do this, or would I be better trying to retain the layout in Javascript, for each record I would like to add functions and methods on buttons etc... I'm not sure how to do this from the HTML...

    Thanks for any help!

    Why not just use a list?
