What exactly do you need to wait for? Data to be present?

Can I have atleast synchronous render event? So that I can write code right after grid.render() statement?

    Thanks

    Same problem here

    Hello,

I have the same problem as original poster. I need to know when has Grid finished rendering, because I then need to bind the rendered content to event handlers.

Render event is useless in this regard for me, as it fires right after the grid layout was constructed.

    Thanks
    Viktor

I don't understand what you're trying to do. The render fn call is synchronous - it doesn't return until the render process is complete. This is separate from loading the data which is async and isn't complete til the load event fires. Also, if you need to know when the display is updated after the data has finished loading, you call listen to the gridview's refresh event. This isn't showing in the doc due to formatting issues - you can look at the source to see the view's events.
