    Default EXTJS equivalent to Prototype's $("id").submit()?

    Hi there,

    I have been using Prototype for a while, I have a form defined as follows:
    <form name="cp_per_002_cpd" id="cp_per_002_cpd" method="post" action="some_url" target="_self" class="hidden_form"></form>

    and in my JS I can simply call the following prototype dollar function to execute the submitting of the form.
    $("cp_per_002_cpd").submit();

    What is EXTJS equivalent?

    thanks in advance.

    I don't know Prototype all that well, so does this do a standard submit or an XHR submit?

    If it is a standard submit then it is the same as:
    Code:
    Ext.getDom("cp_per_002_cpd").submit();
