View Full Version : Are you familiar with the dump or cfdump?

Many years ago I was introduced to CFDUMP which showed the structure of things in memory. Several years ago I came across the same thing in a JavaScript file which did the same thing.

My question; is there something available via ExtJS that will show me the structure of the data that I am working with?

The JavaScript file I have wont display alot of the stuff because it says to much recursion. It would be invaluable if I could actually see what the heck ExtJS is generating so I can navigate it easily in my code.

For example, Im trying to see if a checkbox that resides in a tree leaf is checked, but am failing to find the mapping to the checkbox. Having a tool that will show me what the data structure is will make it easier to code to and understand this ExtJS stuff.

Firebug. It has some functions to do this sort of thing, console.log('Print Something'); or console.log(var); also console.dir(object);
