View Full Version : HtmlEditor bullet/numbered list in IE 6 (ext-3.1.1)

There is an issue with the HtmlEditor in IE6.
It seems that when you are creating a bulleted or numbered list, it applies it from the start of text instead of only on the current line. Even if you make a specific text selection, the same behavior occurs.
It doesn't happen all the time, sometime it works fine, I did not found what exactly causes the problem.

Also, when creating a list, sometime there is no way of getting out of the bulleted mode, even by pressing enter twice or backspace... The only way is to delete the whole list and start all over.

Another bug that happens also is that even if you delete the whole content of the editor,
the html doesn't get cleaned up properly, leaving tags behind e.g.

<P><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff"></FONT><FONT color=#000000></FONT><FONT color=#000000></FONT><BR>&nbsp;</P></FONT>

This makes the HtmlEditor component completely unusable for IE6.

Ext version: 3.1.1

It seems that the problem occurs with any Internet Explorer versions... I have tested with 8 and it does the same thing. Any updates on this? Is this gonna be fixed?

Can someone from the developer team comment on this? Will this ever be fixed?

Was this ever fixed?

If not did anyone ever find a work around?
