View Full Version : When ExtJS runs in clearly dirty CSS environments

imagine you want to use ExtJS in an existing project, or use it as framework for some kind of application that may be embedded in customer websites. In both cases the CSS definitions can be very dirty, like setting a border on all td's instead of using classes or using some other way of selection. The former case is easy: the CSS has to/can be changed. But how to act in the later case? Using iframes, sure, but shouldn't ExtJS ensure their UI look fine in 'every' CSS hell?

See the example using a global td definition setting all borders to 5px solid and maybe some margins/paddings. Many controlls, like buttons, will adopt those styles instead of overwriting it with the wanted 'default'.
