View Full Version : TabPanel size when all tabs are removed

I have a tab panel configured within a borderlayout panel. It's a basic border layout, tree panel to the west, tabpanel in the center, tree panel to the east, and a basic panel to the south.

I start the tab panel with a single tab and no content. When I click on a tree node, data is retrieved, the trees are updated, and the tab panel is cleared of tabs (removeAll) and then anywhere from 1 to n new tabs are added to it - based on the data returned.

I've noticed that when I remove the single initial tab, the tab panel basically shrinks in size (by exactly the size of the tabs area) and leaves a blue area (similar to the border color).

Is this normal? Is it possible to configure the tab panel so that when you remove the last tab the header area where the tabs appear remains?

Here some some screen shots to illustrate the issue:

No, it's a bug (http://www.extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74302).

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I can now ignore it for now until the fix.
