View Full Version : charts and styles

Hi guys
I'm using an xtype columnchart very similar to the example in docs
( ... the last one http://extjs.com/deploy/dev/examples/chart/charts.js (http://extjs.com/forum/../deploy/dev/examples/chart/charts.js) )

My problem is that I have an items number in the x axis that makes invisible some of them, too many items and too little space.
Items are user names so the length may change from user to user
I wonder how I can solve this problem, decreasing the font size is not a good way :(

I was looking for angling the text using style ( changing charStyle ) but it seems to be a bad point in documentation, I can't find any property list or well documented objects that I can use.

.... or am I wrong ?

Did you try labelRotation?

new Ext.chart.ColumnChart({
extraStyle: {
xAxis: {labelRotation: -90}

This will rotate labels on xAxis by -90 degrees.

I am new in this. I found solution in examples.
Not much in docs though.

If I find something interesting I'll let you know.

Good luck :)
