Guys, I use paging on grid and when I press refresh button I see "Loading" message.

I tried to find the answer by myself, but couldn't.

How can I change "loading" message?

viewConfig: {emptyText: 'And now for something completely different...'}

viewConfig: {emptyText: 'And now for something completely different...'}

I already use "emptyText" field, but this is for empty grid =)

I need message for "loading..." widget.

Ignore my previous answer.

The correct answer is:

loadMask: {msg: 'And now for something completely different...'}

(loadMask can contain an Ext.LoadMask config object)

Very good, works fine!

Can I ask one more question about "loading" message, please?

When I load my grid first time, I don't see this message. If I press something on paging bar - I can see my message.

How can I show "Loading" first time?

loadMask config belong to grid itself, not paging bar..

When the grid is first loaded it is still 0px high.

You need to start loading after the grid is sized, e.g.

listeners: {
afterlayout: {
fn: function(grid){
single: true

Strange, but listener doesn't work... even with firebug console.

Never mind, I will investigate it. Thanks for your support!

Is there more generic way to override that "loading..." text in all components,for example my application has lot of custom ext components, and i have localized strings available in global array.Is there a way so that i could override all Ext components to use custom string?
