View Full Version : Toolbar.Separator.hide() not a function?

This should be according to the docs, but Firebug tells me its not a function. is this a bug? setVisible doesn't seem to work either. Only show() seems to work. But I need to be able to both show and hide at run time.

That should tell you that Separator is not what you think it is - use FB to verify.

Not sure I understand what you're trying to tell me. The docs indicate that hide is a function which hides this component. Why would it not not be what I think it is when the docs clearly state this? Are the docs wrong? I don't think a test case is necessary in this situation as it is rather simple. Hide is simply not working.

You can hide a separator, so you are probably doing something wrong.

I suggest you post (part of) your code you use to create and hide the separator (as tryanDLS already suggested).

Seems pretty obvious he's calling it on the constructor rather than any instance.
