How to open editable combobox's picker list on input click?

I have an editable combobox. When i click on input of the combobox the picker list does not show. It only shows if i click on the arrow picker on the right side of the combobox. Whereas in tagfield it works fine. Is there any property that i can use here to open the picker list if i click on input of the combobox.?
