View Full Version : EXTJS 7.0 Trial

18 Sep 2019, 5:10 PM

I've signed up for the EXTJS 7.0 trial and received my confirmation email, however I can't find the links to download the various components. I've followed the instructions to create an app using NPM, but I can't find the links to download the EXTJS files, Examples, Architect etc. Can someone tell me where the download links are (or what I'm missing).

Sencha don't provide standalone extjs sdk anymore, maybe just provide for the premium users, sencha recommend us to use extjs with open tooling

Same here. I was under the impression, that I could try out the Architect application. For instance the page https://docs.sencha.com/architect/4.2/guides/getting_started/installation_setup.html states:

If you don't already own Sencha Architect, you can download a free, fully functional, 30 day trial.

fill form to evaluate Ext JS and you wil receive an email with both options npm and zip file based that includes sdk and examples

Zip file-based download
Step 1: Click to download Ext JS SDK Zip (https://cdn.sencha.com/ext/trial/ext-7.0.0-trial.zip?__tkn__=exp=1569531349~acl=%2Fext%2Ftrial%2Fext-7.0.0-trial.zip~hmac=90210af0b114ff838594b3aeafe87575ed00445813b19e69db4587fe01eba62f)
Step 2: Start generating your app (https://docs.sencha.com/extjs/7.0.0/guides/getting_started/mobile_desktop_application/getting_started_with_zip.html?elqTrackId=81cb93ff77934a07909896acecf93379&elq=19f6a7f542344f53a89520fe17ee61fc&elqaid=31833&elqat=1&elqCampaignId=12040#getting_started-_-mobile_desktop_application/getting_started_with_zip_-_generate_an_application)

@wemerson.januario, Can you provide extjs-addon-trial.zip for 7.0 and sencha-vscode 1.0.2.vsix, please?

when you fill form and receive email you have a link to download addons too

Click on the download links to try other Sencha tools included in your 30-day trial.

Try Ext JS Add-on Components (https://cdn.sencha.com/ext/trial/ext-addons-7.0.0-trial.zip?__tkn__=exp=1569531349~acl=%2Fext%2Ftrial%2Fext-addons-7.0.0-trial.zip~hmac=b16b1265526080ec34c63fbb88e644457b61df51afa06c2819dde0a70cde5d83) (Pivot Grid, D3 Visualization, Calendar, Data Exporter) to build high performing data-intensive applications.

Thanks for your help @wemerson.januario. Unfortunately, that does not work. Your direct link works, and i get the Ext JS-Zip file. But it does not contain the Architect Application.

Also the trial email links to the get starting page, and if I click the "ZIP" there, it links back to https://www.sencha.com/products/evaluate/ . I was only able to download Ext JS, with your direct link. If I sign up for a Trial, this link is nowhere to be found (or at least not easily).

The link "Pivot Grid, D3 Adapter, Calendar, and Exporter add ons" on the getting started page is exactly that, but not what I want. I was talking about the Sencha Architect desktop application. It's not included in the Ext JS-Zip, nor in the Add ons-Zip.

This is the application:

This links be back yet again to https://www.sencha.com/products/extjs/evaluate/

Thanks for any help.

Did you fill the form for free trial?

I did, twice. No mention anywhere of such a link. Not in the email, and on non of the "getting started" pages.

Thanks again! And I would need the application for MacOS.

I guess the same applies btw for the "Themer" Application, if that is a desktop app as well. I was not able to find it anywhere to download.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Well what do you know. Now it works. I received a totally different email the other day! Very strange.

The first email was:
Your 30-day trial starts now!

We’ve set up a Sencha account for you on npm that will be active for 30 days and provides full access to everything you need to start building applications using Ext JS. Ext JS and all related packages are hosted on Sencha’s private npm registry.

And today I got:
Welcome to Sencha Ext JS 30-day Free Trial!

Building your data-intensive applications couldn't be faster, secure, and more robust with Sencha's professionally supported framework, components, and tools!

Seems there are different Evaluation forms to fill, or something has changed. At the moment, I can not find the other form I was filling out first. Looked pretty similar and it had this URL...

Well anyway. Thanks a lot! Now I can try it out. (I was using Architect 3.2 quite a few years ago...)
