View Full Version : [FIXED] 6.2.1: Ext.onReady: boom shaka (NO ITEMS?)

27 Jan 2017, 2:10 AM
Documentation for method Ext.onReady (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.2.1/classic/Ext.html#method-onReady) is a little awkward (boom shaka). Same thing on Reader.read (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.2.1/classic/Ext.data.reader.Reader.html#method-read). o_o

Same thing on Ext.Array#map (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.2.1/classic/Ext.Array.html#method-map) and Array#map (http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.2.1/classic/Array.html#method-map).

Thanks for the report. We've opened a bug ticket (DOCS-381) for this issue.

Can you explain what happened here? Should we be concerned about other content, scripts, etc. being injected into the online docs?

I think this warrants a full response.

From what I can see, I don't believe that there's any reason for concern. I'm still waiting to hear from that team, but it seems like a work in progress was inadvertently deployed.

What you see is in the source for the documentation parser from an individual in the docs team. Looks like work to debug something was never finished.

It was indeed a troubleshooting effort and subsequent mistake which led to this. The Documentation team offers it's sincere apologies and should have things fixed up very soon. Thanks for your understanding.

Super thanks for the clarification. That's exactly what we assumed (have done similar myself more than once :-) - just wanted to be sure.
