Cannot register sencha eclipse plugin

Hi - I have a license of sencha but cannot register/active the eclipse plugin. I receive the following error during registration:

An error occurred attempting to connect: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Does anyone have some suggestions to resolve this issue?
