Floating Menu Callout

I was wondering how I can go about styles on a button menu to add a callout arrow. I tried to add a css class for the :after render on the .x-menu-default class, but had 0 success.

You're missing most of the styles from http://www.cssarrowplease.com/. Also menu overflow is hidden. You need to change that CSS property as well.
