Yes we are planning to have a Linux version by GA.

We had originally planned to include a Linux build with GA, but had to pull it as our deadline approached because it simply wasn't GA-ready. It is one of the highest items on our list, so please be patient -- I'm hopeful we can have it ready for our next release.
