View Full Version : [OPEN] [ExtJS 4.2.3] Drag'n'drop in a grid and invalid zone.

28 May 2015, 5:42 AM
When drag'n'droping in a grid, there is a secure zone around the dragged item where I cannot drop to avoid accident (and this is cool).
Here it is in red when I drag Homer:
This zone is the current element, bottom half of the previous and top half of the next.
Here is a fiddle to test it : https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/nl7.
Try to drag Homer on Bart, you will have to be far enough from Homer to have the right to drop.
For the moment, everything is normal.

With grouping, this is the same behavior, BUT the group title is included in the first item, so the zone is too big and my users think they cannot drop on "Bart" (see image) : in fact it would work dropping on the group title "group boy"

Here is fiddle to test it : https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/nl8 try again to move Homer on Bart...
