View Full Version : Workflow runtime state in Ext JS

We are looking to graphically depict state of running workflows. For instance in the below screenshot, runtime state of a workflow is presented. The small green box below an activity indicates that the activity has been processed

I need to implement something similar for a workflow system which has a UI build in Ext JS 4.2. Users need to see the runtime state of workflow (what all activities are there in the flow) and which activities have already completed.
Is this something that can be implemented in Ext JS 4? or would it be better to use D3 Visualization API (http://d3js.org/) and integrate it with the Ext JS application?

Ext JS will let you draw just about anything (http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.1.0-gpl/examples/draw/Tiger.html), but there isn't a built-in configuration to do flowcharts like that.
