View Full Version : Freezing Top Rows in EXT JS version 4.2

13 Mar 2015, 1:56 AM

We need some help in freezing the top 3 rows in a Tree Grid. I did search across and found one example of using features like summary which would freeze one of the rows.
There is also an option provided to override the feature summaryRenderer and display whatever data we need.

Is there any other workaround apart from the top i have mentioned in EXT JS. Any help is appreciated.

This doesn't seem like a bug so I've moved this thread from the Bugs forum. Can you please explain what you mean by 'freezing' tree grid rows and provide a link to the forum post you mentioned?

In the Grid, we get data in JSON format. We wanted to have the top 3 rows frozen similar to the column freezing.
The rows should be scrolled down with the scroll event.

No config to lock rows in a grid -- you'd have to build that yourself. A grid with a locked column is actually two grids working together, you might look at that code for a start. Perhaps someone has gotten this working and will share. Here's a discussion I found:
