View Full Version : Scrolling the whole page when only the center panel overflows in border layout?

I am using ExtJs 4.2.1 with SA 3.1. I understand that viewport does not provide scrolling, but is there any way/hack to have a scrollbar on the whole webpage instead of center panel when the Center panel overflows in the border layout. I have north, west and center regions in the border layout. Basically, the North region contains the App logo, Center region will be a card layout with most views being form panels. Few long forms overflows the center container and then the scrollbar appears from middle of the page (after the north region ends), and it looks like they aren't part of same webpage.

Is there any solution?

If I understand you correctly you're not wanting the north panel to stay statically pinned to the top of the page if the center panel overflows is that correct? You intend for it to scroll up the page as you scroll down the center panel's form and then you'd scroll back up to the top of that page if you needed to see / interact with the north panel?

Also, would you intend the west panel to scroll along with the center panel if it overflows? I'd assume it would unless the west panel is set along to the left of the north/center regions so that they can scroll independently of the west panel.
