I am new to Sencha. Does anyone know what reset.css is for? If removing "strong" and "em" from reset.css, does this cause any problems?

CSS resets exist to ensure cross-browser compatibility. We zero out elements to ensure that we have 100% control over the generated application looking the same in every browser.

Removing them has the potential to change the way your application looks across multiple browsers.

I'm not sure why you'd need to remove the em and strong tag resets. You should be able to create classes with font-weight and font-style that specifically dictate bold and italic.

Thank you Greg. The reason I need remove em and strong tag is because reset.css makes bold and italic as normal displayed.

I'm assuming the strong and EM tags you wish to style differently will be inside some form of Ext component right? If so, then give that component an ID or Class, then style them as required based on the component identifier?
