View Full Version : variableRowHeight: true breaks infinite grid scroll

I am currently evaluating ext js 4.1.1 - but having a problem getting infinate scrolling to work consistently with store proxy and grid using variableRowHeight property

if variableRowHeight is set to true - grid scroll breaks inconsistently - with error on scrolling - using extjs-4.1.1-gpl
//TypeError: Ext.fly(...) is null start: start

when the scroll works without breaking the last record in the recordset is not shown in the grid (despite being present in the returned json data)

//settings on store with proxy
buffered: true,
pageSize: 100,
leadingBufferZone: 100,
autoload: true,
proxy: {
type: 'ajax',
url: 'url',
limitParam: 'rows',
reader: {
type: 'json',
root: 'data',
totalProperty: 'totalrows'
} ,
simpleSortMode: true,
simpleGroupMode: true,
groupParam: 'sort',
groupDirectionParam: 'dir'
sorters: [{
property: 'job$header-uuid',
direction: 'asc'

//setting on grid
width: 1024,
height: 450,
verticalScroller: {
variableRowHeight: true,
numFromEdge: 5,
trailingBufferZone: 10,
leadingBufferZone: 20

is this a known issue - if so can anyone point me in the right direction towards a fix?
many thanks in advance

This should be fixed in newer versions.
