View Full Version : Equivalent to Yahoo.util.onAvailable for Ext standalone?

Please forgive me if I'm missing something very obvious...

Is there an equivalent to the YUI functions onAvailable and onContentReady? I just found the Ext.EventManager.onDocumentReady method.

I have been playing around porting a YUI app to use Ext Standalone and there are some instances where I execute some function when a particular div has been found in the DOM (after an Ajax call dumps new html to the DOM). Is there an "Ext" way of doing this?...

In case somebody else was wondering, after digging the source code, I finally found the answer! :D

The class is called Ext.lib.Event, and the method is also called onAvailable (This also applies for Ext 2.0)

Is there a particular reason why the Ext.lib classes are not documented?

Thanks vmorale4. I just came across this question and sure enough, it's there but undocumented (even in 3.x). If this is just an oversight, I'd really like for this to be documented (that way we know that it's a supported feature).
