Hi to everyone,

scenario: building an html5 app for desktop (chrome and safari)

it could be a good option using Sencha?

i mean, what can be a negative effect to using Sencha to building an html5 app?

i know there is Ext Js, but if my target is not all the browsers, but just a webkit browser and to use all the wonderful options of html5....why don't use Sencha?

Thank you for all your response

As long as you are ok with the limitation of the app running only in webkit browsers there is nothing wrong with building a desktop friendly app with Touch. Be sure to check the docs for Ext.is, there you can find all the tests for the platform the app is running in so you can potentially present variations on the UI and app functionality depending on the environment the app is running in (desktop vs mobile, etc)

There is another thing that you need to keep in mind... To scroll you have to act like your mouse is a finger so to scroll you have to click and hold and then drag your mouse.
