View Full Version : using taphold

I'm currently working with Ext JS 3.3 and was wondering how to listen for taphold events?

That's probably something more geared to Sencha Touch, rather than ExtJs.

The tap/hold concept doesn't typically apply to your average web application; it's more a 'mobile device' kinda thing.

right, how would I integrate sencha touch?

I apologize for any 'smartypants-ness', but I'd start by posting in the Sencha Touch Discussion and Help (http://www.sencha.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?55-Sencha-Touch-Help-amp-Discussion) forum.

ok. I'll head over to the touch forums, but to clarify, Ext js can listen to the touchstart event and thats it? It seems as though I can listen to the touchstart event, but can't figure out a way to listen to the tap, taphold, singletap, doubletap, etc etc.

Most ExtJs components respond to 'HTML' style events, e.g. 'click', 'dblclick', etc.

Is there a particular Ext component you're referring to that supports a 'touchstart' event?
