Does anyone know how to remove this white space when required the fields are empty? It disappears after user enters text.

I've never seen this and I have used forms with allowBlank and msgTarget as 'side' quite a lot. Have you checked CSS? Did you change anything or is something just going wrong?

No, I didnt change anything in the css, here it is

<link href="/Content/Site.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

<link href="/Content/ext-all.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

<script src="/Scripts/ext-base.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

<script src="/Scripts/ext-all-debug.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

<script type="text/javascript" src="/Direct/Api"></script>

What's in Site.css?

Can you inspect the field element using Firebug or the like debug tools? Just to see if there is a conflict somewhere.

No css conflict, even if i comment out that file, same thing happens. Site.css is asp.net mvc's generated css with some basic predefined rules. The white area happens to be body of the composite field (.x-box-inner).

I have another strange thing, i can't put two gridpanels in the same composite field, the first one disappears, do you know how to fix this?

Thanks for replying
