Datecolumn issue with InternetExplorer

I have a gridpanel where there is a column with xtype: 'datecolumn'.
Although, in Firefox the data are displayed normally, in InternetExplorer date data are not displayed.

Any idea?

The problem is not the column; it's the field definition.

It should be something like:

{name: 'myfield', type: 'date', dateFormat: '<appropriate format>'}
