Hi - I want to create a list that is actually a queue so does not need an order/grouping but needs to be re-orderable and have a delete function - I am having a really tough time putting it together - any ideas???

Many thanks

Check the swipe-to-delete feature in the Twitter example:
Search something, and then swipe the saved search and a delete button appears.

Also check the sortable List example here:

Hope that helps.

Thanks Steffen
Will look again at the twitter example. Looked at the sortable list menu but it sorts <li> elements, how would I go about including them in a non-html way? Simply include a
sortable: 'true' type tag? Also am having trouble deconstructing the list element from the example. I want a simple list that I can build and add to. The existing example one has other elements tied to it that I need to deconstruct...
HEADACHE. Sorry - am probably being a bit noob but anyway...

Many thanks

hmm, ok, yeah, thought the sortable example is based on an Ext.List.

Unfortunately it doesn't support the sortable option yet.

I think it shouldn't be that hard to implement though. Look at the TabBar.js source. There the sortable option is implemented via the Ext.util.Sortable.
Where do you want to save the sorting state?

Maybe I find time this weekend to play a bit with it.

Will look at the toolBar.js for clues.

Wanted (I think) the save the store via JSON but am not dealing with the data retrieval side of things (bad way to produce I know). Am working on the interface still need to bear certain things in mind...

What I want is a queue (list) that has the following functions: an edit button which would release the sortable function and delete function. Does this sound feasible?

Thanks again
