View Full Version : ProgressBarPager DefualtText doesn't work

22 Sep 2010, 11:50 PM
The sencha progress bar pager sample is not showing default text('Loading...') when a response delay is introduced. progress-bar-pager.js was changed to read from php. In php side, few seconds sleep was introduced before sending sample data array. then it first display 'No data to display', but after the given number of seconds, it says 'Displaying 1-30 of 30'. How can I solve this?

var store = new Ext.data.Store({
// proxy: new Ext.ux.data.PagingMemoryProxy(myData), // removed
url:'readdata.php' (http://www.sencha.com/forum/'readdata.php'), // added

readdata.php - which send same sample data

I had a similiar issue where the grid wouldnt show the loading mask. I had to use the store.load.defer() method

thisCmp.store.load.defer(100, thisCmp.store, [{
callback: function () {

Actually issue was regarding display message in the PagingToolbar with ProgressBarPager plugin.

Thanks troseberry, As you suggested, I could manage with loadMask/listener in the grid for the moment.

Any idea of showing defaultText ( 'Loading...') in the paging tool bar itself while loading the grid?
